Weekly Player Policies (updated June 30 2025)

A limited number of weekly guaranteed spots are available for each skate on the game schedule.  Specifics for securing a weekly guaranteed spot are outlined below.

1. PAYMENT:  To secure a weekly spot players must choose one of the following methods of payment; (a) provide and keep a valid credit card on file which will be used by SCIH CLUB to pay for skates on a weekly basis OR (b) maintain a pre-paid 10-skate pack with available credits at all times.  Those electing to use option (b) can pay using VENMO, ZELLE, ACH or CREDIT CARD.
2. MISSED GAMES:  Weekly players must provide a minimum of 48 hours notice if unable to attend their scheduled weekly skate.  Failure to provide the minimum notice will result in a full charge for the missed skate.  Players are allotted 1 missed skate without penalty in any 4 week period when proper notice is provided.  Players will be charged a full skate fee for each additional game missed during any 4 week period (if no replacement player is available).
3. VACATIONS:  Up to 3 skates in a row may be missed for vacations or medical/family leave without penalty (2x per calendar year) as long as prior notice* is provided.
4. INJURIES/OTHER:  Players who must miss extended periods due to injury or unexpected events may request to relinquish their weekly spot at any time.
5. LATE ARRIVALS AND NO-SHOWS:  A $20 LATE FEE will be accessed to any player taking the ice 10 minutes or more after the session start time as shown on the game schedule.  Players that fail to attend without prior notice provided via EMAIL will be assessed a no-show fee equal to but not greater than the skate fee for that session.
6. SCHEDULE CHANGES: Changes to game times, venues or game status (cancellations) will be posted to the online game schedule.  Every attempt will be made to inform players of any last minute changes however weekly players are ultimately responsible to check the game schedule for changes prior to each session.

Note:  For players signed up as weekly for more than one game p/week these policies will be applied to each game independently.

*prior notice for vacation/medical or family leave period to be missed must be provided via email 7 days before the 1st date to be missed and must be specified as a vacation/medical or family leave.
