Refund and Late Fee Policies (updated June 30 2025)
Refunds/Cancellations/No Shows and late arrivals
Players requesting to cancel must do so a minimum of 48 hours prior to original requested skate start time. ALL cancellations must be provided via email. Players requesting to cancel a minimum of 48 hours prior to their reserved skate time will be issued a credit which MUST be used within 30 days of date of the date issued. Players canceling within 48 hours of requested skate time are still be responsible for the full skate fee. Game reservations made within 48 hours of any skate are NON-REFUNDABLE. Confirmed players that fail to attend without prior notice provided via EMAIL will be assessed a no-show fee equal to but not greater than the skate fee for that session. All game reservations are non-transferrable. A $20 late fee will be accessed to any player taking the ice 10 minutes or more after the session start time as shown on the game schedule. Players arriving without receiving a prior game confirmation will be allowed to take the ice only if a spot is available and will be accessed a $20 late registration fee in addition to the full game fee for that session.
* A minimum of 2 goalies are guaranteed to be booked and confirmed for all games (in most cases 3 goalies are booked). In order for the SCIH Club to continue to be able to provide great hockey throughout Southern California the club cannot be held responsible for situations beyond its control including traffic, mechanical failures, missing/forgotten equipment such as masks/gloves/sticks/pads, flat tires, improperly set alarm clocks, last minute changes in childcare services, medical emergencies or other unforeseen events that prevent a goalie from taking the ice for a session for which they are booked. No refunds will be provided under any such circumstances. Refunds requests for missing goalies will be reviewed and may be provided in some circumstances at the discretion of the SCIH Club.
